Signs MoU to undertake joint efforts in bridging the gap between the Industry and Academia

Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), world’s biggest Diamond Exchange in the world has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MIT World Peace University, Pune with an aim to establish industry inputs in bridging the industry-academic gaps for the students as well as undertaking various development projects. The MoU will be pertinent not only in providing skilled manpower to BDB by MIT-WPU but also a right platform for students to develop their skills and harness them in the right direction.

The MoU has been signed for a period of 3 years by of Mr. Mehul Shah, Vice President -Bharat Diamond Bourse and Dr. Supriya Paigude, Assistant Director – CIAP, MIT World Peace University in presence of Mr. Anup Zaveri, Mr. Kiran Gandhi, Mr. Paresh Mehta, Mr. Prakash Shah, Mr. Mahesh Vaghani, Mr. Saket Mehta, Mr. Samir Kumar Jha, Mr. Sujit Shah and Mr. Nitin Pagare (from BDB) and Mr. Manas Kapoor, and Mr. Saurabh Shah (from MIT-WPU)

Speaking on the association, Dr. Supriya Paigude, Assistant Director-CIAP, MIT World Peace University said “India boasts of a young, vibrant & educated workforce which is backed up by a Govt. that is desirous of creating an environment conducive to foster economic growth and development.
