GIA Alumni Collective™ is a network where graduates of GIA’s diploma and certificate programs around the world can share valuable insights and inspiration. With a new look and feel, the GIA Alumni Collective builds on community, connects alumni, is the hub to register for more than 20 Continuing Education offerings (10% discount for alumni), and much more. After successfully completing a GIA program or course, alumni can register and tap into a community that supports their journey. The GIA Alumni Collective builds on the history of the previous GIA Alumni Association with new branding.

“GIA Alumni Collective is a bridge to connect alumni to an open, trusting, inspirational and passionate community, united to push forward the boundaries of gemology, jewelry and the reach of GIA’s important consumer protection mission,” said Susan Jacques, GIA president and CEO.

GIA Alumni Collective offers continuing education learning opportunities for topics including diamonds, colored stones, pearls, jewelry design, hand engraving and jewelry forensics. These diverse opportunities support career advancement and knowledge of gems and jewelry. The GIA Alumni Collective Continuing Education website has a full listing of the available offerings

“GIA Alumni Collective’s new website and online community is a reflection of our diverse alumni network. The collaboration with chapter leaders and other alumni brings new energy and a modern look that connects our global network and provides a space to experience the future of gems and jewelry,” said Cathryn Ramirez, executive director of alumni development and continuing education at GIA.

GIA has more than 155,000 active alumni in chapters spanning the globe – 33 in the Americas, 16 in Asia, three in Europe and three in the Middle East and Africa. Eligible graduates can join GIA Alumni Collective by registering on the website. Alumni can stay connected, get involved in chapter events, be included in the Alumni Directory, further their professional development and have access to more benefits than ever before.
