India celebrated its 72nd Republic Day on January 26, 2021. This year's Republic Day was unique for Bharat Diamond Bourse in many ways as compared to the previous years. At the Republic Day Parade 2021, BDB showcased its strength, diversity and pride followed by COVID-19 Protocol.
BDB President Shri. Anoop Mehta unfurled the National Flag and received the Salute on 72nd Republic Day at BDB on Tuesday along with other Board of Directors. The spectacular Parade and activi- ties commenced with BDB President Shri. Anoop Mehta and Chief Guest Hon’ble Ms. Andrea Kuhn, Consulate General of Republic of South Africa – Mumbai & Guest of Honour Hon'ble Dr. Sergei Fandeev , Vice Consul & Director of Russian Centre for Science & Culture – Mumbai taking the salute.
The event started with Parade led by Mr. Prashant Sathe as Parade Commander which included Platoons of QRST Team led by Mr. Arun Durdundi, Security team led by Mr. Abhijit Sathe, Fire team led by Ms. Sanchita Vichare, House keeping team led by Mr. Arbaaz Khan and Liftman team led by Mr. Anil Kollur.

Chief Guest Hon’ble Ms. Andrea Kuhn, Consulate General of Re- public of South Africa - Mumbai & Guest of Honour Hon'ble Dr. Ser- gei Fandeev, Vice Consul General & Director of Russian Centre for Science & Culture - Mumbai was welcomed by Bharat Diamond Bourse Board of Directors President Shri. Anoop Mehta, Vice Presi- dent Shri. Mehul Shah, Secretary Shri. Kiran Gandhi, Joint Secretary Shri. Paresh Mehta, Treasurer Shri. Anup Zaveri, Members Shri. Ma- hesh Vaghani, Shri. Kirit Bhansali, Shri. Prakash Shah, Shri. Surendra Dassani, Shri. Jay Parikh and GJEPC Regional Chairman Shri. Ashok Gajera.
Various events showcasing the strength of Department of Security and Fire Safety were demonstrated by BDB Quick Response Securi- ty Team under guidance of QRST Commander Mr. Arun Durdundi which included Endurance Drills and Exercise, Power Demonstra- tion, Bike Stunts, Rope Climbing and Crossing, Self Defense tech- niques and Pyramid Formation. Followed by Rescue techniques conducted by BDB Fire team and Fire extinguishing techniques involving different fire equipment under guidance of Fire Officer Mr. Pradeep Bankar & Mr. Ashfaq Shaikh.
Bharat Diamond Bourse felicitated staff for their Selfless work Beyond the Call of Duty during the COVID-19 Pandemic which contributed towards safety of all the Stakeholders.
